National Breastfeeding Helpline

ABA provides information and mother-to-mother support to women and families who want to breastfeed or provide breastmilk for their babies. Services include membership for mothers and health professionals, a 24-hour Breastfeeding Helpline, LiveChat, mum2mum app, an informative website, local support groups, antenatal classes and print and digital resources.

The National Breastfeeding Helpline is supported by funding from the Australian Government. The Helpline is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It is staffed by trained, volunteer breastfeeding counsellors who answer calls on a roster system in their own homes.
