PANDA – Perinatal Anxiety & Depression Australia – supports the mental health of parents and families during pregnancy and in their first year of parenthood.PANDA operates Australia’s only National Helpline for individuals and their families that provides access to counselling and information to assist with perinatal anxiety and depression recovery.

ForWhen provides new and expecting parents with a caring, supportive mental health navigation service, to guide you and your family throughout your perinatal journey, from conception, up until your child is 12 months old. It’s a national support line that connects you to the right service that can help you understand what you’re feeling and provide the guidance and support you need to access local services.

Call the helpline number at 1300 24 23 22 between 9.00am and 4.30pm Monday – Friday to speak with a local specialist.

Gidget Foundation Australia provides FREE perinatal psychological support through specialist face-to-face counselling services from 22 Gidget House locations as well as a national telehealth service and group therapy programs.

The Parent Infant Research Institute (PIRI) is a not-for-profit research institute which conducts international research and develops early intervention programs. PIRI has free online treatment programs for expectant and new mothers and fathers.
